How can I get a quote for a rental car?
On the main page, enter the dates and times you wish to rent the car, the pick-up and drop-off location and the driver’s age and click on the “search” button. Get a quote for the car you are interested in.
How can I book a car?
Fill the personal details form, providing your name, country, mobile phone number and E-mail address. If you are picking up at the airport or the port, please do not forget to provide your flight number or the name of your boat and the exact arrival time. Once your booking is complete, you will receive by mail a printable voucher.
How can I calculate my rental days?
Rental days are calculated on a 24-hour basis, starting from the vehicle pick up time. Partial days will be counted as full days.
If I return the car later than the pick-up time, will I be charged a full day?
You are allowed to return the car up to 2 hours later than the pick-up time, without being charged an extra day.
What is the minimum driver’s age? How many years must they hold their driver’s license?
Driver must be 21+ years old, with driver’s license held for minimum 12 months, for car groups A, B, C and 23+ years old, with 24 months driving license, for all other car groups. There is no extra charge for young drivers between 21 and 23 years old, but the rental is limited in the first three car categories A, B and C.
Can I have more than one driver?
Up to 2 drivers per rental are included in the price. For a 3rd driver there is an extra cost of 2 euro per day.
What type of insurance is included?
All rentals include CDW insurance Collision Damage Waiver with an excess amount depending on the car category. A credit card in the name of the driver may be required as a guarantee for standard rentals. Premium Insurance, with 0 excess and usually no credit card required, is also available for an extra cost, except for selected car categories or specific rental cases. CDW or Premium Insurance do not cover damage to glass and mirrors, tires and underneath the car.
Is there a prepayment or a deposit for the booking?
All rentals are paid on spot the day of car pick-up, unless otherwise instructed by the reservations department. Deposit conditions depend on the selected insurance package, car category and rental location.
Is there a cancellation fee?
No, there is no cancellation fee. However, you are required to give at least 2-days prior notice if you wish to cancel your reservation.
What should I do in case of a breakdown or an accident?
In case of a breakdown or an accident you should contact the station where you picked up the car. All contact information will be provided the first day of the rental. You should explain the problem to our representative as clearly as possible. Help will be sent to your location as soon as possible. You should remain close to your vehicle until assistance arrives. If there is a problem that cannot be fixed on spot, a replacement vehicle will be provided.
If I lose the car key, what should I do?
In case of key loss, you should contact the local station where you picked up the car. Our agents will bring you a replacement key. Key loss is not covered by insurance, so extra charges will apply.
If I fill the tank with the wrong fuel, what should I do?
The day of car pick-up our agents will give you clear directions as to the type of fuel for your car. In case there is a mistake, please contact the local station where you picked up the car for further directions.
What are the operating hours? Is there an extra charge for early/late service?
The operating hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. For service outside the operating hours, between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m., an extra 20 euro per rental will apply. The early/late service fee applies only for car pick-up and not for car return outside the office hours.
If my flight is delayed will I lose my reservation or pay a fine?
No, you will certainly not lose your reservation and it is preferable to inform us about the delay. In addition, there is no fine, but if service is offered out of the operating hours due to the delay, an extra fee of 20 euro will be added to the final price.
What documents do I need to rent a car?
All drivers must present a valid EU driving license or an international driving license for non-EU drivers and a valid ID card or passport. A credit card in the driver’s name may be required depending on the selected car category, insurance package and rental conditions.
I forgot my driving license at home. Can I still rent the car?
No, you cannot, as it is prohibited by the Greek traffic law to drive without a driver’s license. However, if there is a second driver in your group having a valid driver’s license, you can still proceed with the rental.
Is there a mileage limit in my rental?
Most rentals include unlimited mileage, unless otherwise stated in your booking terms. The mileage policy will be clearly shown during the booking process or confirmed by our reservations team.
Can I return the car to a different location?
One-way rentals are available on request with extra charge, depending on the pick-up and return locations.
Can you deliver the car to my hotel?
Hotel delivery is available only in selected service areas. Depending on the rental location, the length of the rental period and the distance from our station, extra fees may apply.
What is the fuel policy?
All vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel as in pick-up. In case the renter returns the car with more fuel, the price of the excess fuel will not be refunded.
Can I take the rental car by ferry?
Cars rented in Crete cannot be transported outside the island without prior written approval. Cars rented at Athens Airport cannot be transported by ferry. If you plan to travel to an island, please contact our reservations team before booking so we can advise you on the available options.
What are the payment methods?
The rental can be paid in cash or by credit card Visa, Mastercard or American Express.
Can I rent the model I selected on the Website?
Like all car rental companies, car models are indicative only. In the reservation only the car category is confirmed and not a specific car model.
If I want to extend my rental period, what should I do?
In case of rental extension, you must notify the local station where you rented the car. All contact information will be provided the day of car pick-up by our agents. A minimum 24-hour notice prior to return date is required.
Where do I pick up my rental car at Athens Airport?
Your rental car is picked up from our Athens Airport rental station, located near the airport area. After your booking is confirmed, you will receive clear pick-up instructions, contact details and the exact meeting point in your voucher.
Is there a shuttle service from Athens Airport?
Yes. For Athens Airport rentals, a shuttle service is provided from the airport area to the nearby rental station. The transfer is short and the exact shuttle instructions will be included in your booking confirmation.
Can I rent a car at Athens Airport without a deposit?
Yes, in many cases you can rent a car at Athens Airport without a deposit when you choose Premium Insurance. Some car categories or special rental cases may have different conditions, so the exact terms are shown during booking or confirmed by our reservations team.
Do I need a credit card for Athens Airport car rental?
With Premium Insurance, a credit card is usually not required, except for selected car categories or specific exceptions. For standard rentals, a credit card in the driver’s name may be required as a guarantee. The exact requirement will be confirmed before pick-up.
Can I return the car outside office hours at Athens Airport?
Out-of-hours return may be possible on request. If your pick-up or return time is outside normal operating hours, please inform us in advance so we can confirm availability and any possible extra charge.
Can I take the car by ferry from Athens?
No. Cars rented at Athens Airport cannot be transported by ferry. If you plan to travel to an island, please contact our reservations team before booking so we can advise you on the available options.
